Dipl.-Pol. Annegret Falter works as a free-lance journalist and lecturer in Berlin. Between 1999 – 2014 she was a Member of the Jury of the Whistleblower Prize of VDW (Federation of German Scientists) and IALANA (International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms) and has authored and released numerous publications on whistleblowing cases and on questions regarding the social significance of whistleblowing. For her, whistleblowing is in the service of public interest, the freedom of expression, the democratic discourse, and of political participation. She is a member of the Wissenschafts-Pressekonferenz (WPK) (Scientific Press Conference) and of the Scientific Advisory Council of IALANA.
