
Katharina Nocun is a campaigner, net activist, and publicist. She was the head of the solidarity campaign „Asylum for Edward Snowden in Germany“, and she headed numerous campaigns at Campact e.V., for network neutrality, against data retention and for stronger control over the secret services. Previously, she worked at the Federation of German Consumer Organisations as an expert for consumer rights in the digital world. She has a Master of Science in politics, economics, and philosophy, and did research on the subject „Market entry opportunities for decentralised social networks“. She is involved on a volunteer basis in a large number of initiatives and movements. On the Internet, in the street, and also in court, if necessary, she commits herself to the protection of private data and more transparency in politics.
