Frank Wehrheim was a civil servant in the Hessian state financial administration from 1971 until 2009. He predominantly worked as a tax investigator in the tax investigation service and as a Section Head of the Tax Investigation Unit in the Tax Office of Frankfurt am Main.
Since 2009, he has been a private tax consultant in Bad Homburg v.d.H. Frank Wehrheim was awarded the Whistleblower Prize by the Association of German Scientists (VDW) and the IALANA together with the former tax investigator and private tax consultant Rudolf Schmenger in 2009.
In 2011 he published his book entitled „Inside Steuerfahndung“.
